G5 - PARADISE

Grand Finale~~~~

After much hard work, our group will proceed on to the final presentation on Friday.
We understand that we have a lot of improvement to focus upon and hence......
we, G5-Paradise will never give up till the end....

For the hard things we have been together, for the meetings we held every weeks, for the hard work we gain from failures, for the disagreements we might have some time.. in the end~~~

we believe, it was because of all these hard challenges, that brought us together as one..

One as in Paradise.. that no matter what happens, we G5-Paradise stands together till the end...

First day of being the G5-Paradise~~~

until... we came out with products and business proposal~~~

Interesting isnt it?? that at the beginning we thought we couldnt have achieve all this.. yet if we truly believe that when we put hard effort in it, it does turn out to be something.. and not just ordinary something.. it is our PRODUCTS!!!! it is in the end.. G5-Paradise PRODUCTS~~~:)

FAILURES to SUCCESS~~~~

when our group started with the wallet, we encountered several failures. For instance when we create the men wallet, we actually thought of making the keyboard circuit as the base solely however this was a failure since the entire wallet was soft and the structure was not hard..

well here was our first try, we started off by measuring the circuit and creating the base. Then we take used necktie to stick on the board circuit. After which we take INTI recycled bag which we received at career fair to cover the side of the wallet.. This first wallet was make entirely from sewing and it was quite messy.....

This was the second time we tried to make this product but this time we tried utilizing a board that is placed in between the keyboard circuit to make the structure harder. We utilize used paper files and measure according to the keyboard circuits. :)

We spend most of our Wednesday and Friday after class to work out on this wallet and purse.. This lasted for two weeks and so~~~

Second meeting~~~~~

After much research done by our group, we have finalized our ideas into three main choices...

1. wallet
2. lifestyle (chair, table, lamp)
3. Perfume

we plan to try and make the wallet by paper first and see whether it turns out well...

it was easy for our group members to create this wallet.. we finish up within one hour time.. Our group then sat and discuss whether or not to change our idea and to create something more challeging.. Currently we still in research mode..

PARKSON TRIP~~~~~

Last friday our group went for a tour around Parkson, Pyramid to check out on the things available there..

well this is our group leader,Derrick whom suggested of utilizing the layer of plastic located in a keyboard and necktie to create a wallet.. amazing it is, our group suggested to stick with this as our main idea first^^

Later on, we found an interesting section in Parkson which only sell things that are eco-friendly...it includes organic perfume, soap, body wash and etc.. it was then, our group realised Parkson was also making a change to their business.. Our group decided to make perfume as our back up plan ^^

we interviewed one of the shop's owner there to get some idea.. one owner there which came from middle east keep recommending us of doing organic perfume or accessories..

Well there goes our first meeting with group members.. We did came out with some ideas but we have decided to go home and do some research first.. After all, we want to make one object that can suit the middle east citizens....

Welcome to our blog... this blog will keep you guys updated with the progress of our products which mainly focuses on fashionable accessories. However, our goods are none other ordinary goods... Our group will produce hand made accessories such as wallets and handbags that strive to achieve the module of environmetally friendly means. Prior to this motive, we have then named our group "Green - Paradise" aka G5-Paradise...we would like to save this earth and so forth to create a place like paradise - heaven for the future generation to enjoy.
